I recently had a play with the v3x. the salesperson refused to start it up for me so i can only comment on the build.
its definitely not made of teh same material as teh razr, but the plastic its made of is very high density, very good quality. i dont mind the design, the white edging is not bad. keypad looks like a razr keypad knock of since it isnt hte same material but just like the housing material it is still good quality. i thought i wouldnt like this phone cause of the way it looks when its open but i liked the way it flipped open, very much like the razrs.

Making the casing out of plastic somehow cheapens a top-end phone. What a stupid idea, a metal casing would look much better and be a lot tougher. It's not like this is a cheap phone. Anyway I have yet to see one but I hope it's not similar to the crappy low-grade plastics seen on the SLVR range.

yeah i agree, but i think for those kind of people motorola made the v3i. and later on next year theyll make a gsm only 2mp v3 type phone made of metal. their v3i is just for 3g at the moment
